She explained how she picked it up with the pool strainer, and left him outside to dry. Apparently, he dried out, as after I detailed my story she noted he was still loose in the pool cage. This is Florida afterall, and every pool has a pool cage.

We opened each door hoping he could escape- since we saw him inside stuck to the pool cage screen. A pool strainer and a sheet of legal paper later, and he was free outside.

I hope a bat doesn’t get him.

It made me feel good that both my wife and I thought about that dragonfly today- and that at our last understanding- he was alive.
