Pelican was our introduction into the world of wood boating in 1996. Purchased from Mitch LaPointe needing only a “strip and varnish”, she has followed us from Clear Lake Iowa to Lake of the Ozarks to her current home on the Manatee River in Palmetto, Florida.
I wanted a Capri, I got a Holiday. I am not sure I have ever really gotten over that- but here she is, 25 years later and still with us- if currently waiting for “another” strip and varnish.
